What are people's opinions of mence going to ubers? Nite will go up and steels will drop massively. Do people think mence is too powerful?

No. I've said it earlier, resudial damage kills him. Just start using P-2 which is hi's best counter by far.

It comes in on a DD traces the Intimidate to screw up the boost and Ice beams for the kill. A counter.

Salamence doesn't seem like an ubers to me. He's difficult to switch in because if you do it to soon or under the wrong circumstances he may not get a good opportunity to switch in again. If he doesn't work some magic once he's in that's bad news. Scizor keeps him in check really easily, and Scizor isn't easily removed from an opposing team even with Magnezone (and now we are talking about building around Salamence anyways).

If mence is at full health, scizor isn't too well as a check.
