Which gym were the hardest in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald?

Absolutely the 7th gym.
Do you know how long it took for me to beat the gym leaders?
...I lucked out. That's all.
Their Claydol and Xatu is one thing. Claydol with its nasty Earthquake, and Xatu with its high Sp. Atk.
...But then comes an extremely powerful combo, Solrock and Lunatone. SHIT!!!

It was my Blaziken and that goddamn Solrock left. I had low, very low, HP left, and Solrock had like, 3/4 left.
I could only use my Double Kick, not my Blaze Kick, Peck or Quick Attack.
I got a critical hit on the first kick, then normal on the second.
It was all about a critical hit...
... At least im done with that now.

I just hate 6th gym leader. Her Altaria pisses me off.

Her Altaria was a hard one to beat-

In Ruby and Sapphire, I had huge problems with the 5th gym leader. In Emerald, the 6th gym leader was the hardest for me.

Tate & Liza were the hardest. My Pokes were always underleveled so that didn't help either. they also basically bring the one Pokemon grind to a stop with their double battles meaning if your poke isn't around lvl 70 you're screwed.

I also remember thinking 2nd gym leader were annoying. Bulk up guy with Machop and Makuhita.

The 2nd wasn't really annoying for me, due to my Combusken learning Peck.
For me, it was the 5th gym that was annoying.

If you were using a combusken, wasn't he kicking 5th gyms ass?

It was definitely the 5th gym for me too.

The 7th gym was pretty easy for me. I had a perfectly leveled Swampert with Blizzard and Surf, so Tate & Liza were screwed. I was very happy that they gave Norman a Spinda in Emerald. That made the fight much easier.

yeahh seve, my only good poke was baziken, so just try to figure it out...1 fighting/fire Vs. 2 Psychic/rock(both beating my types)

i think the 6th gym is hard because Altaria is very annoying there,7th gym is not much a problem I think because I'm not using blaziken but I use swampert so i just abuse their water weakness

7th gym.
That freaking quiz is annoying me and his pokemons a waste of time just becuase of that.

and besides i think we can skip the gates XP

My swampert cnt even KO his blazeking and i ahd to sue a grass type to beat the whole thing..

The 5th gym. Slacking is hard to kill due to the fact he has high hp.

I'm going to have to say Maulville, if you don't start with Torchic and if you don't level up your Pokémon enough then you can't win.

7th gym.

I beat the by haveing gardevoir use skill swap on Claydol to get levitate, and then use Calm mind 5 times. Psychic beat everything. Took me 5 hours to figure it out.
