1. Use the Pokemon Trade Shops (or either of these threads: x x) for quick pokemon or item trades. If you have several trades you'd like to get done, please put them in your own personal trade thread. There's no reason to clog up the other two.
2. Cloning (and asking for clones) is permitted, but at your own risk.


3. The trading and asking of hacks is allowed, however they must be placed in the appropriate section. Trading hacks without informing the person you're trading with is forbidden *****.
4. Once you trade, the two traders have a trade-back 24 hour period, in which the traders can trade back their pokemon if they disliked the trade (it turned out to be a hack when both thought it was legit, the IVs were calculated wrong etc). Failure to follow the trade back rule will result in strikes. ****
5. No trading pokemon you don't have the rights too. *******

1. No spamming. (Stupid pointless annoying messages) *
2. No excess cursing. (Every now and then is okay, just don't make a habit of making every other word a swear word.) *
3. No trolling. (Trolling is posting here just for the intent of annoying others, and to flame people) ********
4. No flaming. (Flaming is name-calling, being rude, etc.) *
5. Don't ask for peoples personal information. *
6. Don't ask to be modded. *
7. Don't try to bend your way around any rules. **
8. No advertising (Posting links to other forums unless in a signature). If you want to advertise in your signature: ask permission to a mod or admin first. We want to check the site to see of the site is not a porn site or something like that. You'll hear from the mod/admin if your site is approved or disapproved. *

10. Do not post double, triple, quadruple, or more than five times in a row. If you have a long post, save a copy of it on your computer first. This will help to avoid a lot of frustration. (3 and below) * (4) ** (5) **** (Anything higher) ******

The strike system:

Strikes are permanent and will only continue to add up.

It IS possible to get banned from the trade forum before ever getting banned from SGF itself.

Even though some of the main forum rules only yield you one strike in the trade forum, you will still get the total amount of strikes they are worth (according to the main forum punishments) towards your account. (Ex. Double posting = 1 strike trade in the trade forum + 3 strikes towards your account)

Trolling or evading your ban will still result in a permaban/IP ban as according to the main forum punishments.


Regarding Personal Trade Threads

- Trade threads are threads people make to offer their pokemon. All personal trade threads should be in the Pokemon Shops Sub-Forum.
- You can refer people to your own thread to see if they are interested in something, but it would be helpful to just list a few things you have to offer.
- You can conduct any trades you want in your personal trade thread, so long as it abides by the trade forum rules, but you must keep it clean and organized.
- Do not give incorrect information about the pokemon you are trading.
- If you don't know how to make one a trade thread, or how they work, feel free to check other people's threads.
