Here at this place you can post some suggestions for our great forum. Of course there are rules so this place will not turn into a mess. The suggestion section of the forum is made for a reason and we (the staff) will consider every serious suggestion.

The Rules:

-The Standard Forum Rules of course.

-Do not ask to be modded!!! The staff decides about moderation and only people who have the right skills are mods. We will ignore every moderation request and we will only take new mods if we need to. Oh, and having a good idea doesn't mean that you'll be modded by the way.

-Like the title already says: Post your suggestions here. Do not make a special thread for it.

-This is not a "Complain" forum. This is a forum for suggestions for new things here. There is a forum section called "Bugs, Problems & Concerns". Post your problems there.

-We will only listen to serious ideas. Idiot suggestions like: "Lets have a porn section" will be ignored and closed. Post REAL ideas here.

-Do not flame someone else about his/her ideas.

-We have lives outside the forums so be patient if your idea hasn't got a response yet.

-Advertising is NOT NOT NOT NOT and NOT allowed here!! So don't do it!

-Give ARGUMENTS about why your idea is needed on the forum.

The button with "no MSG" and "MSG" should shift colour when you have a message. In that way it's easier to see if you have one.

The idea is good, but only possible if there is someone who can, and is willing to make a message button that is exacly the same as the old one, but with different colors. So I would be very happy if someone would do that.

What do you mean by notification?
That something appear when someone befreiend you and stuff? I think its impossible, J-master told me that the server didn't allow it.

A notification system is impossible with this forum software. Serebii has a great notifiction system because they use vBulletin. vBulletin is awesome forum software, and it has a lot of options, but it is very expensive. This forum software (forumotion) is free and good for making a forum, but it hasn't a lot of options. So an notification system for other things than new private messages is impossible. The bet thing to do is to check out your friends menu and your visitor messages from time to time.

Maybe people can PM them if they request a friendship.

Can people (including me) go to other forums and invite people here? It will really help our forum.

Yes we can. I've done so on Sppf and Smogon and it would be really nice if you could do that. Didn't i invite you?

Inviting people is always a good thing. And to stimulate our members to invite new people, I'll make a thread where invited members can say by who they were invited. If you invite someone, you'll get an amount of bonus points which you can spend at our upcoming shop. So be sure to invite lots of people!

It's not possible to add a thing that shows, "UserA is currently viewing the Forum Index." But what you can do is looking in the "Who is online?" List. If click the link, you can see everyone's location. What you also can do is looking in the list "Users browsing this forum:" Every forum and sub-forum has one above the moderator list.

Forget my last post and forgive my stupidity. I just found out that there is a way to see what everyone is doing at the moment.

If you go to Who is Online, and click on the link called "Who is Online" you'll see a list of all the active users, when their last activity was, and their current location in the forum.

When will the contests be available at the latishop? We could turn pokequiz to a contest. Some items must be impossible to get though.

The contests will be available when there are new contests. I've heard that Ontop is planning on a competitive Pokémon related contest, and I'm going to open a picture contest when I finished the user rank images (that will probably be done this week). It is made impossible for not-staff members to make their own threads, to avoid getting flooded by not-official contests. But if you are interested in making a contest yourself, and the rules/content of your contest is good enough to be considered as 'official' in your opinion, you could contact one of the contest moderators so they can post it for you. They are displayed at the bottom of the page.

I am aware of this, but I haven't had time to make a good locked icon yet. I want to finish the user rank images first.

Personly i find it outstanding that "games" section gives higher post count. People with high post count are often given higher respect, and that should not be given by playing games. Don't get me wrong i like a few games but plese, no post count+.

That's a good idea, I tought of that, but I actually didn't cared much...

The problem is, that you can't turn off the postcount increaser with foumotion. So that is impossible to do. But postcount isn't that important. I have seen people with over the 2000 posts who still are idiots. You earn respect with the quality of your posts, not the amount of your posts. Anyway, if there is too much postcount +1, I'll just increase the amount of posts needed to achieve a certain rank.
